Your Cooking & Spa Day Programme

10:00 — Welcome at the riad. Welcome mint tea in the Riad Vendôme patio. Our chef presents the day's recipes. You put on your apron.

10:15 — Shopping in the souk. Off to the local market, 200 metres from the riad. You discover the spices (ras el hanout, cumin, saffron), seasonal vegetabthe and preserved lemons. A moment of sensory discovery in the heart of the medina.

11:00 — In the kitchen. Back at the riad. You prepare 2 Moroccan starters (zaalouk, briouates or cooked salad) and your main course of choice: chicken tagine with preserved lemons, kefta tagine, lamb tagine with prunes and almonds, or couscous. Our chef guides every step with patience and good humour.

13:00 — Tasting on the rooftop. Your dishes are served on the riad's rooftop terrace with panoramic views over the medina rooftops, the Koutoubia and the Atlas Mountains. Complimentary mint tea and Moroccan pastries. The most memorable moment of the day.

14:00 — Oriental hammam. After lunch, head to the riad's hammam. A eucalyptus-scented steam bath, followed by an olive black soap scrub to eliminate toxins and reveal silky-smooth skin. An ancestral ritual in a completely private setting.

15:00 — Relaxing massage. 1 hour of organic argan oil massage in our patio massage room (or side by side on the rooftop for couples). The expert hands of our qualified beauticians release all your tension. You emerge completely rejuvenated.

16:00 — Tea and departure. One last mint tea on the rooftop before leaving with your recipes, a sachet of spices as a souvenir, and baby-soft skin.
