Team organisation. For groups of more than 8 guests, we organise the workshop into 2 to 3 teams working simultaneously on different recipes. Each team prepares a completee dish (starters + tagine or couscous), then everyone comes together on the rooftop for a communal tasting. A touch of friendly competition makes the workshop even more enjoyable.

Activity hen party in Marrakech : the cooking class with the girls

The cooking class is the number one hen party activity at Riad Vendôme. In 2026, we continue welcoming over 30 hen party groups annually. Why does it work? Because it is friendly, accessible to all (no experience required), and creates truly unique memories. The bride-to-be and her friends cook a tagine together, laugh while trying to roll the semolina, take photos in front of the souk's colourful spices, then taste their creations on the rooftop with views over the Atlas Mountains.

Team building culinary : corporate seminar in Marrakech

The cooking workshop is our most requested team building activity among corporates. It naturally develops communication, coordination and creativity in a fun, relaxed setting — exactly what managers look for when bonding their teams. No cooking skills needed: it is collaboration and good humour that make the dish a success.

Format competition : participants are split into 2 to 4 teams. Each team receives a different recipe and must prepare it from start to finish. At the end, everyone tastes the dishes and votes for the best team. The friendly competitive spirit turns the workshop into a memorable event.

Collaborative format: all teams contribute to a grand shared feast. Each sub-group prepares a dish (starters, tagine, couscous, pastries) and the result is a shared banquet on the rooftop. Ideal for seminars focused on bonding rather than competition.

Yoga Retreat and Cooking Class in Marrakech

Moroccan cuisine is a natural ally of wellbeing. Our yoga and wellness retreat partners regularly choose the cooking workshop to complement their programme. After morning yoga, participants discover Moroccan cuisine, rich in vegetables, anti-inflammatory spices (turmeric, ginger) and olive oil. The 7-vegetable couscous and vegetarian tagine are dishes that fit perfectly into a mindful eating approach.

Sample yoga + cooking retreat programme: morning yoga on the rooftop → late-morning cooking class → healthy lunch cooked together → free time or afternoon hammam. Group Travel and Cooking Class

You organise a trip in Marrakech to 10, 15, 20 or 25 ? Whether this is a group of friends, a association, a club, a family reunion or a trip organised, the cooking workshop is the activity that pleases 100% of participants. No prerequisites, a warm atmosphere, and the pleasure of tasting together what you've cooked — hard to beat for creating group memories.

What groups love: no need to travel (everything happens at the riad), a turnkey programme (Eric organises everything), affordable pricing (£30/person all-inclusive), and an activity adaptable to all ages and levels. Children aged 8 and grandparents of 80 alike have an excellent time.

Groups of 25+: for groups exceeding 20 participants, we organise the workshop in 2 rotating sessions. While one group cooks (12-13 guests), the other does a guided medina tour or hammam session. Groups swap halfway through the day. Everyone meets on the rooftop for the collective tasting.

Group Birthday: Cook Together

For a milestone birthday (30th, 40th, 50th), a group cooking workshop is a warm and memorable activity. You cook together, laugh at the first attempts, and savour the results. The Workshop Programme for Groups

10:00 — Home and briefing. Mint tea for everyone. Our chef presents the recipes, the ingredients and forme the teams.

10:15 — Souk shopping. The whole team heads to the local market. Each sub-group has its ingredient list to find. A moment of discovery and exchange.

11:00 — In the kitchen. Teams settle at their stations. Each team prepares a full menu (starters + main course). Our chef circulates between teams to guide, correct and encourage.

13:00 — Tasting collective. Tous the dishs are served on the rooftop. Each team presents their dish, everyone tastes and compare, on vote for the best tagine. Tea and pastries offerts.

Un boutique riad for your group

Your group deserves more than an impersonal meeting room. At Riad Vendôme, the cooking workshop takes place in an authentic boutique riad in the heart of the Marrakech medina, in the Dar El Bacha district. A patio with fountain and zelliges, a panoramic rooftop with views over the Atlas Mountains, a traditional kitchen with its bread oven — the ideal setting for a shared moment between colleagues, friends or family.

Whatever your participants diront : "On a cooked a tagine in a real riad Moroccan with a chef locale, then on a degamene on the rooftop terrace with views over the mountains." This, it's a souvenir group. Pas a meeting room with a buffet caterer.

Large Group Logistics

Maximum capacity: 20 guests per simultaneous cooking workshop. Beyond that, we organise rotating sessions alongside another activity (guided medina tour, hammam).

Espace : the kitchen of the riad can accommodate 3 teams of 6-7 guests working simultaneously.
