Dinner at the riad: real Moroccan cuisine

On request (the day before), Chef Naima prepares an authentic Moroccan dinner:

Tagine: chicken with lemon and olives, lamb with prunes, kefta… Friday couscous: seven vegetables, lamb, merguez. Pastilla: flaky chicken-and-almond pastry (to share). Grills: skewers, lamb chops. Dinner is served in the candle-lit patio or on the rooftop terrace with Koutoubia views.

Half board vs all-inclusive: which to choose?

In Marrakech, half board is the best choice. Breakfast and dinner at the riad root you in authentic Moroccan cuisine, while lunch stays free: you explore the restaurants of the medina, the food stalls of Jemaa El-Fna and the cafés of the souks. It's richer and far more flexible than a chain-hotel all-inclusive.

Riad Vendôme half board is particularly popular during UK school holidays. February half term and October half term offer the best combination: warm weather (18–28°C), no summer crowds, and competitive prices. Easter fills up fast — book early. Summer stays are possible but expect hot afternoons (32–42°C) — plan pool time from noon to 4pm.
