Compared to the 3-day version, the 4-day itinerary adds a full extra day for cultural exploration (palaces, museums, Yves Saint Laurent garden) and gives you breathing room between activities. What the Four Days Actually Cost

Two figures circulate on this page and they answer two different questions, so here they are side by side rather than one hidden behind the other. €540 per person is the full four-night programme with breakfast, the cooking class, a spa session and the half-day in Agafay. The table below is the accommodation base for two people over three nights, before activities, so you can see what the room actually costs and add only what you want.

The breakfast is €5 per person and the tourist tax €3 per person per night: both are counted in the figures above rather than added at the end. Exact rate according to your dates, the duration of the stay and the number of people: quote within 24 hours on WhatsApp.

Book the Spa on Day Two, Not on Arrival Day

This is the one piece of advice on this page that costs us a booking now and then, and we give it anyway. A hammam and a massage on the day you land, after an early flight and a transfer, leave most people too drowsy to do anything with the evening, and the treatment itself is wasted on a body that has not slept. Arrive, walk down to Jemaa El-Fna at sunset, eat, sleep. The spa belongs on the second or third day, when your legs have done the souks and the massage has something to undo. That is why the plan above puts it on day three.

Which Month to Come, and What It Changes

March to May and September to November are the two comfortable windows: 20 to 28 C by day, everything on this itinerary works as written, and these are also the months that fill first. December to February is mild by day, 16 to 20 C, and genuinely cold at night in a medina house, so ask for the heated rooms; the light is at its best and the souks are calm. June to August passes 38 C in the afternoon, which does not cancel the trip but reorders it: souks and palaces before 11am, the pool and the patio in the middle of the day, Agafay after 6pm. The plan still works, you just run it in a different order.

Two dated things worth knowing if your dates are flexible. Ramadan is a good time to come: the city is quieter by day, the evenings are animated, and the riad runs normally, meals, spa and evenings alike. Eid al-Adha falls on 17 May in 2027, ten days earlier than in 2026, and moves about ten days earlier each year; many shops close for three to five days around it, so confirm the exact date close to your trip rather than trusting a page written a year ahead.

Getting Here: Direct Flights to Marrakech

Marrakech Menara is served non-stop from around twenty airports across the UK, Ireland and North America, and the list moves with the season, so we would rather point you at the pattern than at a list that ages badly. From the UK the routes are dense and short: 3 to 3.5 hours from London, with services also from Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh and Dublin, mostly on low-cost carriers with fares that swing widely by date. From North America the usual shape is a connection through Casablanca on Royal Air Maroc, with a seasonal non-stop from Montreal. Check the current map for your own airport before you fix the dates, and tell us your arrival time when you book: the riad is in a pedestrian lane, so a car meets you at a fixed drop-off point and the last hundred metres are on foot.

Five Mistakes First-Time Visitors Make

• Booking the spa for arrival day. Covered above, and it is the most common of the five.
• Planning a desert day trip to the real dunes. Merzouga is 560 km away. In four days the honest answer is Agafay, which is 40 to 90 minutes out, and we will say so before you book: see Agafay or Merzouga.
• Filling day two and day four with the same thing. Souks in the morning and souks again in the afternoon is how people end a Marrakech trip exhausted and convinced the city is tiring. Alternate standing days with sitting days.
• Arriving without a drop-off point agreed. No vehicle reaches the door in this part of the medina. Ask where the car stops and who carries the bags, at any riad, not only ours.
• Leaving the last day empty. A late flight turns a wasted day into a good one if you plan for it: see your last day in Marrakech.
