Questions legales and administratives
A civil wedding in Morocco is possible for couples de nationalite Moroccan or the couples mixtes (franco-Moroccan). For French couples, the civil wedding must take place in France (at the mairie) before or after the stay. At Riad Vendôme, we organises ceremonies symboliques or secular : this are the moments the most moving, without contrainte administrative, and it's the format chosen by the large majority of our couples.
If you wish to hold a religious ceremony, an officiant can be recommended by Eric (religious or secular, in English or French). The ceremony usually takes place on the rooftop at sunset — an incomparable setting, with the silhouette of the Koutoubia and the Atlas Mountains in the background.

Can you organise a secular or symbolic wedding at the riad?

Yes. With the main riad and the annexe, we have 17 rooms for accommodate up to 40 guests.

The periods ideal are April-May and September-October (25-30°C, mild evenings). Winter (December-February) offers 18-22°C and of the rates lower. Avoid July-August if you wish to dinner outdoor.
