What to Wear to the Hammam on a Hen Party

First-timers always ask this. The answer is simple: a swimsuit or underwear you don't mind getting wet (the black soap and clay will stain). At Riad Vendôme, we provide hammam wraps and large towels for every guest. You don't need to bring anything except yourself. Bring a hair tie, remove nail varnish if possible (the scrub can affect it), and don't shave for 24-48 hours beforehand (the skin needs to be slightly rough for the scrub to work properly). Jewellery off, make-up off. After the hammam, your skin will be so soft you won't want to put anything back on.

Temperature: the hammam room reaches 40-45°C. If anyone in the group is sensitive to heat or has a heart condition, the massage tables outside the steam room are perfectly comfortable. Our hammam therapists are experienced with international groups and will adapt the intensity to each person's preference.
