Searching for a kosher friendly riad in Marrakech or a shabbat friendly hotel usually ends in vague promises. We prefer precision. Kosher meals are available on request, prepared and delivered by an external certified kosher caterer and served at the riad — the riad kitchen itself is not kosher, and strictly observant guests are served exclusively by the caterer. Certified kosher restaurants also operate in the city, such as Dar Ima in Guéliz, a short taxi ride away, and a Chabad house is active in Marrakech. For simpler days, breakfast can be kept plain: fruit, hard-boiled eggs, sealed products.
The location does the rest: from the front door, the Mellah, the Slat Al Azama synagogue — home to a living community with Torah readings on Mondays, Thursdays and Shabbat — and the Miaara cemetery are about a 10-minute walk. Everything an observant traveller needs stays within walking distance.

This is the format observant families ask for most: the entire riad privatised — 12 rooms for 33–36 guests, up to 45 with the partner riad 100 m away, both under one management. Spa, hammam and the flavours of the house
Between visits, the riad is a place to rest: traditional hammam, massages, a pool in the patio and a 300 m² rooftop terrace facing the Atlas. Chef Naima cooks Judeo-Moroccan flavours — a culinary heritage of old Marrakech — for guests who are not strictly kosher; her kitchen is not kosher, and the certified external caterer takes over whenever kashrut is required. Both can serve the same table, clearly separated, so mixed-observance families eat together.

No — and we say so plainly. We are not a kosher hotel and the riad kitchen is not kosher. All kosher food comes exclusively from an external certified kosher caterer, ordered in advance and served at the riad.
